Contact Box – Contact Page – Problem After renaming URL

I apologize, but let me preface this with the fact that I am not a web designer, and am a novice when it comes to building sites. So please, if you answer, try to speak to me in layman terms.

First, the theme I am using is “HighEnd”

Second, the page I was editing when the problem happened was the “Contact” page.

My issue happened when I was updating my URL website links. My website URL read:

legacy-law.co/contact-us

I wanted to change the contact URL to read: legacy-law.co/contact.

When I updated it to that, I received the exact same error as was discussed in this thread:

That thread has since been closed, and the solution proffered in that thread is too complicated for my comfort level.

I got the exact same contact box up to the right, and none of my other high-end editing showed up.

I then renamed the URL back to: legacy-law.co/contact-us. When I did that, it now morphed my contact page into the attached picture – looks like it is overlaying some sort of sidebar logic to the contact page now. Also, it now allows me to scroll over to the right and when you scroll all the way over, the “footer” section magically appears on the right hand side of the page. (picture attached for reference).

My question is:

1. how do I get back to the stock “contact” page that came with HighEnd and
2. how can I change my URL to read: legacy-law.co/contact without getting the error as discussed in the linked thread.
