Most people; okay maybe not most, but many people like to talk about themselves, believing their lives will be of interest to others. I am not one of them. I have no precluded fantasies that my life has or has no interest, and frankly, it does not matter to me. I write about myself only to give you the reader some understanding of who I am. I am married to the same lady for over 40 years have a daughter and 3 grandchildren. I taught school for a little over 40 years, spending about 20 years teaching special education students and 20 years teaching regular education students. I am currently a member of the Elks and Knights of Columbus, both charitable organizations. At the present time, I am working on writing two books, one for younger children ages 5 to 8 or 9 and one for older children ages 11 to 14 or 15. Hopefully, both will be published by this fall. I am also working on two inventions. I started writing my first blog called Mike’s Blah Blah Blog, over 10 years ago, but never got it up and going, mainly because I was not very internet savvy. I delved in a few more Internet activities, mostly affiliate marketing programs then decided to create a blog called Why Learn Here that addresses current issues that impact our everyday lives. I like to write on a variety of topics and, as you will find, I have an opinion on many of those subjects. While some of my writings may purely state the facts as gleaned from other sources, most of my writing will be opinionated. So, you may find my opinion on different topics debatable, and many issues controversial. Hopefully, my writing will have an impact on your thinking that will move you to think either right or left of the center matrix.
