WPML making the menu blend in

Installed current version of WPML on current version of Aegaeus site. On a site in production.

Enabled the option in Theme options to show it in the header, but the design/style is totally different from the theme and it looks really out of place. Have been playing with different configurations of the WPML settings, and most of them stretch the website or get entagled with the social icons.

What would be the best way to solve this?
– help fixing CSS of the WPML menu?
– integrating it with the main site menu?
– other?

I have dedicated time to this today and tomorrow. Really appreciate a fast feedback
