WordPress and theme re-instalation when migrating webhosting provider

Hi!

I’m planning to migrate my websites from Bluehost to Arvixe in a a week or so. I want to take advantage of this situation to reinstall WordPress and the Highend theme since the current sever is a mess (that I inherited).

I found some suggested steps for a regular migration at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2013/04/08/moving-wordpress-website/ and I also found the All-in-One WP Migration plugin. Are these useful?

Should I reinstall and what are there any steps that you recommend?
