White Space at Top and Bottom and Testimonial Slider Height

There is a white space appearing on my home page, just under the slider and above the icon column.

There is also another one at the bottom, just under my portfolio section.

I tried setting the bottom margin for my portfolio section to -85px, it got rid of the white space but then my content appeared cut off.

Also, is there a way to set a fixed height for the Testimonial Slider? So that my content under the slider isn’t moving up and down due to the height changing based on the length of the testimonial.
