Visual composer not working in High End

Thanks for your help, but the page loads and I can click into the back end, but when I try to add elements to the page, it basically ignores me and the “add element” window remains open (to which I can close it, it doesn’t “freeze”), but it doesn’t add the element either. its like the buttons are inactive…
