visual composer doesn\'t work in wordpress 4.5

I’m using the latest version of HighEnd themes. Last night I upgraded WordPress to v4.5. I didn’t backup my system before the upgrade (I’m angry at myself !!!!!), but now when I got to a page composed with Visual Composer … the elements are no longer visible in the Backend Editor. If I click on the ‘+’ to add a new element and the pallet of elements comes up, but when I double click on an element … nothing happens.

Because Visual Composer can bundled with the HighEnd theme, I believe HighEnd has to provision the updates (I believe??). Please let me know when I might expect this to be updated and fixed. Otherwise I’m stuck and can’t continue editing without it (I’ve grown accustomed to using VC for most new content).
