URGENT! One page home is crashing site on some ipad

I cannot figure this out, help!

Our site went live, looks great on desktop, mobile, and the ipad mini I tested on. However it is crashing consistently on earlier generation ipads.

Have optimized the images, cache settings, compression to minimize load as much as possible.

The only way I can get it to load is stripping out all the background images, slider ess grids, and vc row elements (which makes one page menu not function and looks terrible).

Need a solution ASAP, thanks for any recommendations you have!
