Updating Theme

Hello,

I 1st Highend theme site I built was built on version 1.61- I want to update the theme but am concerned about some of the elements that are now deprecated. I built a one-pager using the one-page elements as well as the full-width sections. What will happen when I update to the latest version? Will these short codes be broken? Further to that, what will I need to do/what will be the easiest way to update the page build with the current elements to replace the deprecated ones?
