Unable to get one page site to work

I have gone through the documentation and feel like I have followed the directions to set up the one page site. I’m sure I have missed something because it still isn’t working. I have only tried setting up the one page option with one of my pages, Short Stories, just to get it working. Can you take a look and see if you can tell me what I need to do?
