Transfer Theme to live site from dev site

    I’ve done this before several times, but I want to make sure that it goes smoothly.
    Running the latest version of WP4.1 on old host and new host

    Is it better to use phpMyAdmin to export/import to the live production site from the development site
    –Or–
    Should I use the WordPress Export/Import?
    –or–
    Should I use a plugin exporter importer?

    ***Also, should I first install the theme on the new host? Plugins? etc.
