Transfer from Test To Live Domain

Hi,

I installed the Highend theme on a testing domain and build the site. I have now transferred the site to the live domain however it will not save changes to the Highend settings.

For the the transfer I back up site files and database. I then changed the domain in General settings to the new domain and downloaded the database.

I uploaded the files to the live domain and uploaded database.

The site runs, but there are issues in the admin. The images in the highend settings point to the dev domain and I cannot change them. The save button just stays at saving.

I followed advice about renaming the domain in the database, but this caused all the images to be reset to the default HB images.

What is the correct detailed procedure for moving from dev domain to live domain on different servers?
