Theme reverts to defaults

We have been using your self-hosted WordPress Highend theme for a few years. In the past year, I have had a problem where, for no apparent reason, your theme reverts back to the Highend defaults. It changes my logo, social tabs, colors, and many other functions. I have been able to make the changes back, but it just happened again today and it’s becoming very troublesome. Why do you suspect this is happening? Could it be when WordPress automatically updates? I have the latest version of Highend. Please help so this doesn’t happen again, thank you!
