Theme changes not saving

Hi,

I have played around with this theme for nearly a week and have looked thru the forum for suggested tips to rectify this issue. The execution time, input time and file size have been updated. The color composer is on. But no matter what the changes I make don’t seem to save or better yet, it takes way too long for the change to become active as I noticed this weekend. I would make a change, it wouldn’t save so I would get frustrated and leave it alone only to find out the next day it finally became active. What is the solution to this? This is very frustrating.
