Text color on a footer widget is white

I have tried and tried to change the text color in my footer area. I have added some widgets to the footer area and some of the text is white and can’t be seen because of the light background color. The text will show up if I darken the background color. I just do not understand how to change the text. I have done the customize section and the text color is set to 560eaa but this color only is seen in part of the widget color and not in the title. I need some help please as I am confused about this issue.
