Text and Contact Widget in Customize

Hello,

I am unable to update the text widget or contact widget (and possibly others) in the Customize area. I am able to delete and create widgets, just unable to change the text. The wheel processes and returns “An error has occurred. Please reload the page and try again.” at the top of the widget. Reloading, logging out and back in, or closing the browser and reopening does not help. Any help?
