Team Member Carousel Issues

I have read (and experienced) an issues using visual composer’s Team Member Carousel and that you should use the shortcake. Except the short code isn’t working, it just shows up as text rather than team members. If I use the visual editor the photos of team members are really big and not changable. Anyone have a solution to this?
