Tablet/Mobile not displaying side header

I did a forum search and checked the FAQ but did not see an answer to this issue:

I am working on the layout for a small fansite. (See http://www.destinyboom.com for the working copy)

The side header displays fine on PC but is lost on tablets/mobile. I can’t find the option to fix it. Help very much appreciated.
