Styling widgets…

So on my site, I want the latest posts widget on my articles page, along with the most-liked posts, for example.

But I am having a hard time lining them up and giving them uniformity, as they seem to be fairly different.

for example, the image that accompanies them is different, and doesn’t want to align with the other widgets.

Does anyone have tips they are willing to share on how to harmonize the recent posts widget with the most-liked, and most commented ones?
