Split Header Layout

Is it possible to use a Split Header Layout with a Revolution or Meta slider and not the Flex slider? The Split layout settings only seem to work with pictures or the Flex slider that is already a part of the portfolio page settings and when I embed the shortcode of these other sliders, the Split layout settings don’t seem to work.
