SmartSlider contents distorted on tablet and mobile view

I have a fullwidth smartslider on one page which shows a process of 5 steps. On desktop it looks fine but on tablet, the 5 steps go into 2 rows, which looks messy – I need it to decrease the dimensions to keep the steps in one line.

On mobile, it goes into one column but its formatted on the left side. Unsure how to make it go down the center in one line.
