slow response

Here is an email sent to my web hosting company. I asked for your help as well last August and you said everything was fine. I also did what you said with no luck.

On August 22, I sent in a support request regarding the slow response I am getting from this site. In my opinion it is absolutely pathetic compared to any other site on the internet. I am sitting here on a 50 Mbps fibre optic line and here are the times it is taking me on the site.
From my home page to admin login to wordpress and the theme: 15-20 seconds. It just sits and waits
From my home page directly into the site: 8-12 seconds
When I am in edit mode in WordPress almost every task ie. saving changes, going to a new page to edit is taking up to 25-30 seconds

On almost every site I have tried and I have tried many it takes 1-2 seconds for their home pages to load. I have done everything possible to optimize both WordPress and my home computer. I have other people try it and they say it it is slow. I don’t know if it is the WordPress Template Highend. I am sending them this same email because they too told me it was working fine from there end. I have just been asked by xxxxxxx to take over their site and I wanted to move it back to Blacksun. I am sure you can see that with poor performance like this, I couldn’t possible recommend this or the template to anyone. I can’t launch my web site with this performance. I am no expert but something is very wrong here. Please help me figure it out.
