Slider Revolution issue

I just purchased the Highend theme to use for a client’s site and am setting it up with the Child Theme. As soon as I added the Slider Revolution plugin I saw a notice that there is a new version of the plugin but there is no way for me to update it. Also, if I try to use the Slider plugin as is, the all I see is what looks like the unstyled plugin homepage (ie: it looks like there’s no CSS applied to the landing page for this plugin) which makes it impossible to use. Can you let me know how I can update the plugin. Thanks.
