Slider Revolution breaks the site

Hi,

Am using the latest theme files and wordpress updated to the latest version.

Slider revolution is showing as installed but inactive, Whenever i try to activate the plugins the site breaks down i have to delete it manually to be able to use the site again. Can you please help me!
