Should I deactivate plug-ins before doing WordPress update?

    Should I deactivate my plug-ins before doing a WordPress updates? It seems I read this somewhere, but I’m not sure.

    Is there anything we can do to prevent problems if and when the automatic WordPress or automatic theme updates are done?
