setting sidebar background color

    Hi,

    I’m trying to set my sidebar background color to blue [see need-blue-sidebbar-background.jpg]

    I don’t seem to have an Appearance > Sidebar manager as in the tutorial videos [see noSidebarManager-appearance.jpg]

    I did see the Appearance > Customize > Color – Side Navigation to blue, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything.

    Please advise,
