set Memory Limit & Max Execution Time

    Hi,
    If I add set_time_limit(120); at the top of wp-config.php after <?php the site shows me a blank page.
    If I set define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' ); in wp-config.php I can’t see changes in System Diagnostics. I have tryed to do a Restore Default but nothing change
    Can you help me?
