Set background image on page

Hi. I am trying to set the background of a page on my website to an image using the Background settings found on the bottom of the edit page. However, the changes aren’t applied and the default color is shown instead. Am I doing this wrong? I can change the background color to any color I want but not the background image. Please reply soon. Thanks!
