Search engine visibility cluttered by the indexing of irrelevant templates

WordPress v.4.2.2 running Highend theme. The site is in production and being developed remotely through WordPress admin panel web interface. All that is desired is to have Google index the url ‘http://tghairtoppers.com’ without any uri appendages. The plugin SEO the Ultimate was utililized in order to insert a robots.txt file in the appropriate location to attempt to instruct the bots not to index; it has worked in a limited capacity, but I must take additional steps to stop the site from spewing all the templates utilized to build the site.
