revolution slider is broken

I did this:

1. Update the theme to 2.4.7 – Go to Dashboard > Updates and update the theme.
2. Make a backup of your sliders – Go to Revolution Slider and export each of your sliders. (See screenshots attached)
3. Reinstall the Revolution slider – Go to Appearance > Install Plugins.
4. In case you have any caching plugins, empty/clean the cache.

it didn’t work. so i deleted all my sliders. deinstalled and reinstalled revolution slider and tried to import the first slider and it says this:

Error: slider_export.txt does not exist!

that file does exist in the folder. by the way the export did not create a zip file, it created a folder hierarchy and i had to zip it.
