Resize side logo container

Hi,

I am trying to resize the container for the side logo in the Photography template. I have added the following code to resize the logo:

#logo.side-logo img.default {
height: 250px !important;
}

#logo.side-logo img.default {
width: 402px !important;
}

But, the logo is still squashed because the container is too small. Is there any way I can edit the size of the container, or the menu sidebar on the homepage?
