Resize Product Pictures

I am having a problem i saw in one of the tickets that you need to change the value $image = hb_resize ( $image_object, ”, 250, 400, true); i have done this as you can see still my pictures come out huge and unappealing, I have created a new page so that i can give different categories items. An on my front page it is almost the size of an actual magazine.

In woocommerece the value of the pictures are the same.
