Reducing Heading Area

Instead of a logo, I’m using text as the title of my website and it looks good. However, there just seems to be too much spacing between the title, the menu bar and the body of the page. I even put a blue separator to visually reduce spacing (or is it padding?), but it is still too much. Any help you can offer will be appreciated. Screencap included. Thanks.
