Problem setting up gallery page

    When I published a gallery page the link returns myy homepage http://cabotdecorating.co.uk/portfolio/ how do I resolve this!?

    Below each image there is a title/description tab with white background. Is there a css I can add to change to dark bg like related posts feature shown?
