problem footer menu/navigation

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Although I have selected a footer menu (footer navigation with on the left side the copyright line, normal layout, and on the right side a footer menu) I can only see the copyright text and not the footer menu. I have tried a couple of things to solve this problem but nothing works.
    Would it be possible to give me some advice on what might be the problem?
