Highend was always my first choice. I went with a competitor that has broken my heart after 2 months of slogging that required their intervention physically on my site in the birthing. I went elsewhere frankly because your video-tutorials suck – the competitor’s were spoken, long, clear, and very helpful. Your diddly-bom music is maddening and way too fast for a guy who has never played a computer gane. Are there good Highend Videos out there?

    Minor Questions:

Is Highend compatible with WP Contacts?

Is Highend compatible with Timely’s All-In-One Calendar?? (I think I saw it in use on a couple of your clients’ sites – but it was awhile ago, and your client list is long).

What documents from other software are embeddable, attachable, externally linked to (I only need 1 solution) for Access, Excel, Power-point, .pdf documents – can any of them be updated in real-time by users?

    The Big Question:

My site, rrWhisper.com (still unpublished) is powered by WP.org.
I want 1 site (it will also have many, many non-blog pages).
I want to avoid the nightmare of networks.
My site needs about a dozen unique blogging voices writing under pen-names (all of them me).
My e-mail host can provide up to 30 sub-user e-mails all sendable & receivable under unique e-mail addresses reported to & from my main e-mail address (WP requires this for each separately named author). These authors will have the same names as the e-mail sub-users.
But here’s the thing – I want separate blog pages on the site for each author AND a Master page just showing all Posts & comments in the usual chronological way. Is this already available at the combined WP/Highend site, or can code solve the problem? It seems to me like needing a simple query to a switch-board-like array directing outgoing posts to Master and Unique pen-name and the reverse when comments come in – one copy going to its mate on the Master Blog, and the other to its unique pen-name page.
Is there a plug-in that does this?
Is this doable without a network?

I’ve been using computers big-time since the first PCs in 1983 from IBM – so a sophisticated user with state-of-the-art connectivity, hardware, and software. I’ve kept up with coding over the years and would not be afraid to modify existing code UNDER INSTRUCTIONS – could not solve a coding problem on my own in any language.

Here’s the bonus question: I would be shocked if you’d give me a straight DO or DON’T on this Child Theme issue. NO ONE ELSE WILL EITHER. After spending many hours reading, I can’t escape my notion that the real solution is: a cPanel backup at BlueHost. Update. And if it junks my site simply restoring the pre-update backup and referring the whole matter back to you guys to solve. This business of crashing your customers’ sites with your own software strikes me as – well, un-American. It makes my head collapse into a blue fog. Just saying?

I think $49 is the bargain of the century, and WP a miracle altogether.
