Portfolio and gallery issues

Hello, I have uploaded pictures in the portfolio and in the gallery section. My issue is that when I use the gallery template in a page the pictures are not uploading and giving me a message to check to exit section of the pictures .
With the portfolio, I added pictures but when I want to view the post or page, no pictures show up. how can I fix this issue? Thank you
