Page titles

When I create a new page aand choose the ‘Default’ template, the only options below the content box are for SEO settings. I do not have the option to show/hide page titles. Aegaeus Theme, WP current version.

Do I have to change a setting to make the title ‘appear/not appear’ option available? I have one page with a title showing, but I can’t get titles to appear on any new/edited pages. I have the SEO option checked ‘Enabled’ in the ‘Theme Options -> SEO Settings…’ section.

I thought there used to be a set of options for titles other than just ‘Template settings’ and ‘SEO settings’.
