Page categories on Highend pages not updating

Hi, I am using the Highend theme and am in the process of amending the pages that came with the theme for my blog.

I have created several new categories (Dashboard-Post-categories). I have used the new categories to set menus (Dashboard-Appearance-menus-categories) but I the category section on Highend pages (Dashboard-Pages-grid blog template settings-categories) have not updated so I can’t set the category for my posts to appear on the page.

I am running WP v4.8 using Highend v3.3.9. All my plugins are up to date.

Any advice?
