One Page Navigation Bullets

Hi I am using Highend and have set up a One Page. I am looking to hide the side navigation bullets. I’ve tried this code:

#fp-nav.right {
display: none;
}

but did not work. I put in in the highend custom css and the custom css for the page itself.

Also when I click on the menu navigation it does not take the header into accound and scrolls past where I would like it to. adding padding is not an option. Anything else I could do for this.
