Offset Side-Panel – Show/hide based on login/logout status

Hello,

How can I show/hide the offset side-panel section button (bars icon) in the highend theme based on whether a user is logged in or logged out? In the primary menu location, I would like to hide the offset panel button/link when the user is not logged in, but after login show the side panel bars icon button so that they can have access to the offset side-panel section.

Any help would be much appreciated.
