New user asking about hiding template pages

Hi guys,

My site is loaded full of your template pages, inspiring. Though as I build my site I would like to store for private reference rather than deleting to hide from public page.

Is this possible?

How do most of your users deal with starting their own site through clearing out all the pages you upload with the theme?
