Navigation Menu Color

I tried to use a plugin which flipped my site to default colors, fonts, etc. and is causing conflict with the theme settings. They simply won’t work. Be careful of this plugin. You can reference the attached PDF as it explains what the plugin is for but it did other stuff to my site. I have already deleted it but the damage is done.

I need some custom CSS for the navigation menu color. I have the theme color set so when you hover over the menu the color shows up. But the regular color should be black #000 when not hovering over the navigation menu. The color is a light gray right now and in the theme settings I have it as black but it will not change. I need some CSS to make it work. Thanks.
