MAIN MENU SETTINGS

Hello,
Some weeks ago you gave me a CSS code to change my main menu colour, but I’ve tried to change it and it doesn’t work, I think I’m doing something wrong. I wrote this CSS code, can you tell me if it is correct?

In addition to this I would like to know also how to change the size of the tittles in the menu, in order to do them bigger, to put them in bold and to change also the text colour.
