Logo not displaying on retina screens

Weird issue. The logo is not displaying on retina screens. We noticed initially on our iphones that the logo would not appear.
1. yes we have loaded logo in retina logo settings in wp backend
2. I noticed there was a code in css: #logo img.retina {display:none; width:auto;}
When i removed the display none the logo showed up twice in non-retina screens BUT still did not show up on the retina screens.
