Login / Account Issue

Hi guys,

1) When an attempt to login fails (wrong username/PW), it redirects the page to the wp-admin login page. See attached screenshots. Is there a way to avoid this and just show an error message on the same page?

2) When logged in, under the account, it only shows 2 options (dashboard, logout). The dashboard leads to the wp-admin with an error message. Shouldn’t there be other options like where they can customize their profile, etc. (I installed bbPress and BuddyPress.)
