Link in shortcode; blog not showing; header color??

How do I insert links to the boxed items? It says link=”#” in the shortcode, which is where I tried putting the link…didn’t work!! How do I do it? I have the same issue on other pages with the same type of shortcode (Link=”#”).

My Blog page (Hawaii Travel Blog) is not working, I have it on the main navigation as Blog. How do I get it to work?? I tried what you suggested in previous help, it did not work.

How do I change the color of the background in the header?? I don’t want a picture but a tinted color.
