Last Modified Date in Post

    Hi,
    Currently blog posts show the creation date – how can i change this to last modified date? I tried with “the_modified_time” in single.php but does not seem working.

    The same issue for the most commented posts widget – here how can i remove complete meta data of author and creation date?
