I've done goofed with code

I think I might have killed my entire site, the first time I tried coding myself. As it was BBPress I was fuddling around with, I thought it’d be a simple matter of accessing my functions.php file, and adding in the string to get more forum roles (I’ll add the string in a reply, so this won’t be too long. My question is, is there any way to get my website back? The backup I had was done via the Highend backup system, which was located on the website, so that’s gone too.

Is the message I get from the website, whatever site I’m trying to reach.
I do have a CPanel, but I didn’t do backup from there.

If the website is gone, it’s understandable, and totally my own fault, but I’d still like to try and get it back.
