Inconsistencies with background image resolution

The resolution of the background image on my home and contact us pages looks as intended.

However, with other pages on my site (about us for example), the image is stretched and resolution diminished.

I’ve worked for hours trying to resolve the conflict to no avail. Here’s the link to my site – test.mysimplwebsite.com
